The crazy awesome (and awesomely crazy because this is a mad amount of work they've put into this already) volunteers (I said they were crazy!) running our KidZone this year have released the following announcement:
Regarding Midsummer III KidZone:
Hours of Operation will be Saturday only from 10:00 AM to Noon, closing for lunch and opening again at 12:45 PM and running until 3:45 PM for the ceremony and the rest of the night's activities.
We will have 2-3 levels of difficulty for the nature scavenger hunt and there will be water balloons, a hula hoop contest, rock painting, stick nature looms, and lots of coloring pages for the ones that want to rest in the shade. Ages 3-11 welcome. Parents should provide water, sunblock, bug spray, and snacks.
We may take the kids to play in the water to parents should plan for that too!! (WATER SHOES ARE STRONGLY ENCOURAGED BECAUSE OF OYSTERS)
THERE WILL BE A SIGN-IN SHEET AT THE KIDZONE FOR SAFETY AND ACCOUNTABILITY IN CASE OF EMERGENCIES.
